Thank you for visiting my website! This will be a home for my art and personal projects. I don’t have much up yet since I started this website early December 2024. You can see when the site was last updated at the bottom.
Although I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon, I don't know if I would call myself particularly good at art.
Being good at art isn't the POINT.
People make art for a lot of reasons, but they typically boil down to wanting to enjoy the experience of making or engaging with a piece and to communicate, with themselves or with others, about their ideas.
The point of any art I make isn’t to be technically good. It’s simply to express myself.
In a time when human artists are being replaced with AI, I think it’s time to slow down and enjoy what makes my art organic and human.
I am a small artist and writer who likes to make things sometimes. I have a beautiful boyfriend and two children (cat and dog.) I like to draw queer furries and put stickers where they don’t belong.
The internet feels like it's shrinking, the same few social media sites in an endless loop. Everything I see is dictated by an algorithm designed to slowly crush my self-worth and sell me things I don’t need.
When I go online, I want to talk to people, read stories, and look at art. I don’t want to be a statistic or a customer. I want to customize my space, instead of being boxed into a profile picture and a banner.
I hesitated to make a website for a long time. I know extremely little about coding and I’m not particularly enthralled by it. It just seemed impossible. (This is not my first attempt at a site, but the first one I’m actually happy with.)
But I kept looking at other peoples sites, and finally I stumbled across the concept of web revival, and it pushed me to participate.
Right now, I’m slowly changing the way I use the internet to be healthier. I want to enjoy and participate in the web revival and find that sense of exploration and play again.
